Mr. Nguyen said the program has served as a bridge, as although the number of scholarships may not be large, it represents the affection and generosity of benefactors who have extended a helping hand to the children. "Let this be the motivation for you to continue pursuing your dreams and conquering the future through education," Mr. Nguyen advised.
In addition to 100 scholarships for students, there are also 120 scholarships for candidates admitted to Van Hien University and Binh Minh Saigon College, with a total budget of over 5.6 billion VND - corresponding to 100%, 50%, and 30% tuition fee reductions, respectively.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Rector of Van Hien University - thanked Tuoi Tre newspaper and expressed his desire to continue the partnership for the next two years. "The scholarship not only recognizes the students' efforts to overcome difficulties but also encourages them to maintain their creative spirit, continuously learn, and become useful citizens for society," Dr. Duc stated.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, Le Quoc Phong, said that "Wings of Dreams" is a new addition to the series of activities supporting education that Tuoi Tre newspaper has successfully implemented in recent years. This encourages students to strive in their studies and view life's difficulties as only temporary obstacles.
Mr. Phong advised: "There are difficulties to overcome and face, but please believe that there are many people around you, the community, and organizations like Tuoi Tre newspaper who will stand by you to overcome difficulties and move forward."
The Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee stated that Tuoi Tre newspaper has chosen an approach that focuses on supporting disadvantaged students, who are also the future of Dong Thap and other provinces in the Mekong Delta. These students will be the ones to realize their dreams of developing their families and hometowns.
"We sincerely thank Tuoi Tre newspaper, the partner organizations, and especially Van Hien University. We hope that from today's 'Wings of Dreams' journey, you will become more steadfast, continue to strive in your studies to achieve more results, and contribute more to society, to the development of each locality and our country," Mr. Phong stated.

The ceremony was deeply moving with a video about Pham Bao Quoc (11th grade, Thoai Ngoc Hau High School, Kien Giang ) and Nguyen Thi Kim Thao (12th grade, Nguyen Trung Truc High School, Bac Lieu). Many tears were shed as people listened to the stories of the two students.
Honestly, Bao Quoc shared that due to his family's extremely difficult circumstances, he had to seize every opportunity to work part-time to help his parents a little and try to afford his studies. Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tham - Bao Quoc's teacher - shared that perhaps it was his desire to become a geography teacher that forged Bao Quoc into a resilient and optimistic person, believing that the future would be bright and that he could better take care of himself and his family.
With tears streaming down her face, Kim Thảo recounted how she had struggled through a lonely life, having lost both parents when she was still in elementary school. While other students might have to work once, Thảo had to work ten, even a hundred times harder just to attend school. Lương Ngọc Hân, the author of the article introducing Kim Thảo, shared that she was deeply moved by her mother's account of her classmate's difficult circumstances and decided to submit the article to the program.
"I don't expect my article to win an award; I just hope that Thao's situation will become known to more people so they can help her overcome her current difficulties and go to university as she dreams," Han confided.
