The leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Trang commune affirmed that taking care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services is the responsibility and good morality of the whole society, and at the same time hopes that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be exemplary in leading emulation movements, and contribute to building an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Veterans Association of Bat Trang commune Dang Van Du added that on the occasion of the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27 this year, along with promoting propaganda work to effectively implement the movement "When drinking water, remember its source", the Fatherland Front of the commune continues to mobilize the establishment of the "Repaying gratitude" Fund, creating resources to care for and help people with meritorious services who are facing difficulties in life and housing; organize visits and give gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, mothers, wives, relatives of martyrs... who are in difficult circumstances.
The Fatherland Front of the commune coordinated with the People's Committee of the commune to present more than 750 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND; coordinated to present 10 gifts worth 7.6 million VND to policy families; coordinated with the Youth Union of the commune to present 10 gifts worth 5 million VND to policy families; mobilized benefactors to present 120 gifts worth 126 million VND; organized a campaign to clean up and renovate martyrs' memorials...
