Bat Trang Commune: Gratitude to policy families

On July 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Trang commune coordinated with Vietcombank - Dong Ha Noi Branch to visit and present gifts to 10 families of war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs in the area.

The delegation visited the families of: War invalid Le Ngoc Chi, Thuan Ton village; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dich - wife of a martyr, Dao Xuyen village; Mrs. Tran Thi Thuy - wife of a martyr, Le Xa village; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Doan - wife of a martyr, Ngoc Dong village; Mr. Nguyen Van Dac - person infected with toxic chemicals, Kim Lan village 2; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Con - mother of a martyr, Kim Lan village 2; war invalid Nguyen Van Dam - Kim Lan village 5; Mrs. Khuc Thi Tom - mother of a martyr, Trung Quan 1 village; Mrs. Truong Thi Nen - wife of a martyr, Trung Quan 2 village; Mrs. Tran Thi Gai - mother of a martyr, Chu Xa village.

At the families, leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Trang commune and representatives of Vietcombank - Dong Ha Noi Branch expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

The leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Trang commune affirmed that taking care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services is the responsibility and good morality of the whole society, and at the same time hoped that families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be exemplary in leading emulation movements, and contribute to building an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Veterans Association of Bat Trang commune Dang Van Du added that on the occasion of the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27 this year, along with promoting propaganda work to effectively implement the movement "When drinking water, remember its source", the Fatherland Front of the commune continues to mobilize the construction of the "Repaying gratitude" Fund, creating resources to care for and help people with meritorious services who are facing difficulties in life and housing; organize visits and give gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, mothers, wives, relatives of martyrs... who are in difficult circumstances.

The Fatherland Front of the commune coordinated with the People's Committee of the commune to give more than 750 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND; coordinated to give 10 gifts worth 7.6 million VND to policy families; coordinated with the Youth Union of the commune to give 10 gifts worth 5 million VND to policy families; mobilized benefactors to give 120 gifts worth 126 million VND; organized a campaign to clean and renovate martyrs' memorials...
