Na Meo Commune organizes the Festival "All people protect national security" in 2024

On the morning of August 12th, the Security and Order Steering Committee of Na Meo commune (Quan Son district) organized the "National Security Protection Day" 2024.

Attending and sharing in the festivities were Colonel Phung Xuan Tien, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 138; leaders of Quan Son district; and a large number of officials and people from Na Meo commune.

Na Meo is a border commune in Quan Son district, sharing a 28.736km border with the Muong Soi, Muong Pun, and Nam Nga clusters (of the Lao People's Democratic Republic), located 44km from the district center. The commune has the Na Meo International Border Gate, a gateway that always poses a potential risk of various types of crime.

Recognizing the crucial role of the "All People Protect National Security" movement in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Na Meo commune have focused on leading and directing the renewal of the movement's content and form to suit the local situation. Specifically, the commune has directed the development of advanced models and exemplary practices; launched a self-governance movement for security and order at the grassroots level with a spirit of self-prevention, self-management, and self-protection, contributing to maintaining security and order stability in the area, creating a safe environment, and promoting socio -economic development.

Speaking at the event, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 138, Phung Xuan Tien, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Party Committee, government, people, and armed forces of Na Meo commune in the past period.

Regarding future tasks, the comrade suggested that the Party Committee and the government of Na Meo commune continue to focus on leading and directing the work of disseminating information and mobilizing the people to strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; and to replicate advanced models and exemplary cases in the "All People Protect National Security" movement.

The Na Mèo Commune Police Force needs to continue to promote its core role, proactive and creative spirit, advising the Party Committee and government on plans to ensure security and order; deploying intensive campaigns to attack and suppress all types of crime, recovering weapons, explosives, and supporting tools; strengthening armed patrols, combined with people's patrols; proactively preventing, detecting, and reporting crimes; educating , assisting, and rehabilitating law violators to reintegrate into the community...

Chairman of Quan Son District People's Committee Le Hong Quang presented Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in implementing the "All People Protect National Security" movement and organizing activities for the "All People Protect National Security" Day in 2024.

Leaders of the Provincial Police and Quan Son District Police presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa Province to policy beneficiary families in Na Meo commune.

On this occasion, one collective and two individuals were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; two collectives and two individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Provincial Police; and the Chairman of the Quan Son District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to two collectives and three individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the "All People Protect National Security" movement and organizing activities for the "All People Protect National Security" Day in 2024.
