Thai Binh Commune commends 13 typical advanced collectives and 32 individuals in the patriotic emulation movement

On the afternoon of September 5, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh commune held the first conference to commend advanced models for the 2020-2025 period and determine directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Party Secretary, Chairman of Thai Binh Commune People's Council awarded Certificates of Merit to typical advanced collectives in the patriotic emulation movement.

Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movements of the commune have been widely deployed, making an important contribution to socio -economic development and ensuring security and defense in the locality. Typical movements are: "Joining hands to build new rural areas"; "Farmers compete to be good at production and business"; "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"; "For the poor, no one is left behind"; "Teach well, study well".

Thanks to the above movements, the commune has maintained 19/19 new rural criteria; developed over 440 hectares of fruit trees, especially longan trees; the aquaculture area reached 79.4 hectares with an output of nearly 130 tons/year. The whole commune has supported the construction and repair of 70 houses for poor, near-poor and policy households with a total cost of nearly 3.9 billion VND; built 4 OCOP products achieving 3-4 stars at the provincial level.

Comrade Le Anh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh commune, awarded Certificates of Merit to typical advanced individuals in the patriotic emulation movement.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, the commune determined to continue mobilizing the strength of the entire political system to participate in emulation and reward work. In which, the Party Committee plays a leading role, orienting policies; the government proposes specific solutions; the Fatherland Front and organizations gather and encourage people to actively respond.

Emulation and reward work will focus on innovating the content and methods of operation, closely following the political tasks of the locality, promptly resolving issues arising from the grassroots. The rewards must be substantial, fair, and timely, creating motivation for patriotic emulation movements to spread more and more strongly.

At the conference, the leaders of Thai Binh commune awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and 32 typical advanced individuals in implementing the patriotic emulation movement in the locality in the period of 2020-2025.
