Verifying images and clips of suspected commune leaders in Bac Ninh gambling for money

The Yen Phong District Party Committee ( Bac Ninh ) held a meeting and requested the Long Chau Commune Party Committee to report and explain the information about suspected gambling of commune leaders. The police are also verifying the clip on social networks reflecting this content.

Recently, images and clips appeared on social media showing many leaders of Long Chau commune (Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province) allegedly playing cards. Underneath the mat were many bills of different denominations.

Speaking with VietNamNet reporter on the morning of February 11, Mr. Hoang Ba Huy, Secretary of Yen Phong District Party Committee (Bac Ninh province) said that regarding the images and clips circulating on social networks about information that some leaders of Long Chau commune gambled for money, on the afternoon of February 10, the Standing Committee of Yen Phong District Party Committee held a meeting and requested the Long Chau Commune Party Committee to report and explain on February 11.

"We have also assigned the District Police to investigate and verify who is spreading this content. The nature of the case will be reported specifically after the District Police have completed the investigation," said Mr. Huy.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified.
