On the afternoon of December 10th, the Central Internal Affairs Commission held a conference to summarize the work of 2025 and outline the key tasks for 2026 in the Party's internal affairs sector.
Comrades Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Secretary of the Central Committee; Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; and Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, chaired the conference.

At the Vinh Long end of the conference, attendees included Comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, and leaders of various provincial departments and agencies.
In 2025, the Party's Internal Affairs sector will continue to play a strategic advisory role for the Politburo, the Secretariat, and local Party committees; proactively grasp the situation, and promptly propose solutions to emerging issues related to national security and social order, especially complex and protracted cases.
The fight against corruption and negative practices has been intensified with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions," and "handling one case serves as a warning to the entire region and sector," ensuring strictness and consistency. Internal affairs agencies have closely coordinated to improve the effectiveness of inspection, supervision, investigation, and auditing; handling numerous cases of corruption, waste, and negative practices in sensitive areas.
Presenting his paper at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Phong - Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee - reported on the coordination between the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and other agencies in the bloc regarding internal affairs, anti-corruption, and anti-waste efforts. Based on practical experience, the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee drew several lessons: There must be unified leadership from the Party Committee; the responsibility of the head of each agency must be linked to a strict inspection and supervision mechanism. The Internal Affairs Committee needs to play a central coordinating role among internal affairs agencies...
Delivering a directive speech at the conference, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee, requested the Internal Affairs sector to continue effectively implementing the policies, tasks, and solutions regarding internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negative practices, and judicial reform in accordance with the spirit of the Party's 14th National Congress documents.
Focus on advising and directing the inspection, investigation, and decisive handling of corruption and negative cases under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee and provincial-level Steering Committees; advising on strengthening the fight against waste; proactively coordinating and advising on leadership and direction to ensure the unified understanding and implementation of viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions regarding national defense, security, and social order and safety.
Permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, Tran Cam Tu, requested continued consolidation and improvement of the organizational structure; building the Party's Internal Affairs sector and other agencies to be honest, truly clean, and strong, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new period.
