The scooter still uses the BlueCore engine, a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that meets Euro 4 emission standards, with a displacement of 125cc. This engine, combined with an EFI electronic fuel injection system, delivers a maximum power of 9.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is transmitted from the engine to the rear wheel via a clutch and automatic transmission system, along with a standard V-belt for scooters.
Weighing in at 96 kg, the seat height of 773 mm makes it easy for riders to access, while the 4.2-liter fuel tank ensures a longer range between refuelings. Under the seat, a spacious 14-liter storage compartment is large enough to hold a full-face helmet.
The Yamaha Ego Avantiz's braking system includes a single hydraulic disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, ensuring safety while riding. The suspension system consists of telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear, providing a smooth ride across various terrains. The 14-inch wheels with 70/90 tires at the front and 90/80 at the rear enhance traction and stability while riding.
The 2024 Yamaha Ego Avantiz has been updated by the manufacturer with three new color options in the Malaysian market: Sky Blue, Dark Blue, and Purple. Despite the new colors, the Ego Avantiz maintains the same price as the 2023 version, with a listed price of RM 5,998 (approximately VND 32.46 million).
