The brawl after the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona (October 26) was the reason why young Barcelona stars like Yamal and Pedri simultaneously unfollowed their senior national team player Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid) on social media.

In Barcelona's 1-2 defeat to Real Madrid, controversies arose after the players could not control their tempers. The focus of this argument was between young star Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) and right-back Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid).

Specifically, after the end of the match, Yamal and Carvajal shook hands. According to the TV stations' recordings through the mouth movements, it was Carvajal who initiated the argument with a sentence that made the young star wearing the number 10 shirt of Barcelona unable to keep calm.

Before the match, Yamal made statements that were considered "overconfident", making Real Madrid players unhappy, including Carvajal.

Although the two are teammates on the Spanish national team, the Real Madrid defender's actions have crossed the line. Carvajal said, "You talk too much," as the broadcasters analyzed from his mouth movements, right after shaking hands. After Carvajal turned away, Yamal immediately responded violently but was promptly stopped by midfielder Camavinga (Real Madrid).

However, the incident did not stop there. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) also rushed in, stopping Yamal with provocative words. This intervention made the Barcelona prodigy even angrier, and it is said that he even challenged Courtois to meet him in the parking lot.

Everything that happened after that became chaotic, forcing all the players and coaching staff of both teams to rush in to prevent an unfortunate brawl from happening.

Although tensions on the pitch were later controlled, the Barcelona players' anger spread to social networks.

On the evening of October 27, fans quickly discovered that Lamine Yamal had unfollowed Carvajal's account on Instagram.

Then on the morning of October 28, Yamal's teammates at Barcelona such as midfielder Pedri and Gerard Martin also made similar moves, clearly showing dissatisfaction with the Real Madrid defender's behavior.

Midfielder Frenkie De Jong (Barcelona) has spoken out to express his discomfort with the way Real Madrid players treat their juniors.

“I didn’t see anything happen. I was on the bench and I just saw a lot of people fighting. When the referee blew the final whistle, the Real Madrid players ran to Lamine Yamal. It was a bit too much. You have to ask them about that,” De Jong told Movistar.

He also stressed: “Carvajal can talk to him privately. Making gestures on the pitch is just old behavior. If you are Lamine's teammate and want him to restrain his speech, you should talk to him privately,” De Jong shared.

Currently, Real Madrid's number 2 defender has not made any comments on the incident.
