Zalo AI Summit returns with the theme 'Vietnam in the AI era'

The era of AI is considered a comprehensive transformation, when AI penetrates every process, every product and every aspect of life to become a basic infrastructure layer. At that time, AI is no longer a luxury, but gradually becomes a universal tool, helping every individual and every organization improve their intellectual capacity. This is an era where humans are not replaced, but supported to create more value, more efficiency and more humanity.

In Vietnam, the concept of AI was emphasized by Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung at the National Scientific Conference on AI held on September 15 with the message: "AI must become the intellectual infrastructure of the country, serving the people, developing sustainably and enhancing national competitiveness ."

Vietnam in the Era of AI-fication.

This is not just a vision, but a reality that is happening. In Resolution No. 57, AI is considered the golden key for the country to overcome the middle-income trap, improve productivity and competitiveness, and aim to become a high-income developed country by 2045. Many national-level seminars and scientific programs on AI have been and are being implemented. The Law on Artificial Intelligence was submitted to the National Assembly for the first time.

Domestic enterprises are also investing heavily in AI, from research, infrastructure to application. In recent years, Zalo has researched and self-trained large language models (LLM) with many practical applications, launched "Digital Citizen Assistant" to serve millions of Vietnamese people, integrated AI on Zalo platform with nearly 20 million monthly users, contributing to popularizing AI widely in the community.

In that trend, Zalo AI Summit 2025 is organized with the theme "Vietnam in the Era of AI-fication " to review the overall picture of the current status, trends and potential of AI in Vietnam, thereby showing the importance of developing AI responsibly. Meeting place of Vietnamese AI technology experts

Taking place on December 20, Zalo AI Summit brings together speakers who are leading experts from major units in Vietnam and the world such as Open AI, Nvidia, Zalo AI, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This is the 8th year Zalo AI Summit has been held, attracting the attention and participation of thousands of people each year, directly at the event or via online livestream.

Coming to the Zalo AI Summit 2025 event, technology and AI lovers will listen to presentations and update the latest AI development trends from Vietnam to the world revolving around the topics: Physical AI wave, AI multi-agent systems, undercurrents of AI chips, applications of AI in work and daily life.

The discussion sessions at Zalo AI Summit 2025 outlined a panoramic picture of new movements in the AI era. With experience working at Nvidia, Dr. Tran Minh Quan brought the story of the physical AI wave, showing how advanced GPU technology is pushing robots and physical systems to make a strong breakthrough. Dr. Pham Hy Hieu - an expert from OpenAI, analyzed the strategic competition in the chip industry - the platform that determines the speed and power of AI models and the role of names like Nvidia, Google, Meta, AMD or Intel.

From an application perspective, Associate Professor Dr. Quan Thanh Tho from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology presented the potential of multi-agent AI in creating collaborative systems, solving complex problems and reshaping future operational processes. Dr. Nguyen Truong Son and Dr. Chau Thanh Duc from Zalo shared case studies on AI-fication in Vietnam, showing how Agentic AI is being incorporated into virtual assistants, automation and programming tools to improve work efficiency and better serve the needs of millions of users.

In addition to in-depth discussions on the topic of artificial intelligence, at the Zalo AI Summit 2025 forum, Zalo AI will introduce new AI products to serve the needs of Vietnamese users. Many important AI products and solutions from Zalo AI have been launched at previous forums such as the Kiki Auto assistant on cars, the large language model KiLM... These are all successful AI products from Zalo, making a name for themselves in the Vietnamese technology industry.

Within the framework of the event, the award ceremony for the champions at the Zalo AI Challenge 2025 arena will also be held. Taking place from October 27 to November 20, the Zalo AI Challenge 2025 competition attracted the participation of 1,060 teams, competing with 2 topics: "AeroEyes - Finding and Rescuing with AI-Powered Drones" - building algorithms to control drones to perform search and rescue missions, and "RoadBuddy - Understanding the Road through Dashcam AI" - building a driving assistant capable of understanding video content from dashcams to quickly answer questions related to traffic signs, signals and driving instructions.

With the theme “AI as an efficient partner”, Zalo AI Challenge 2025 has a total prize value of up to 12,000 USD . The competition is accompanied by Realtime Robotics company, media partner Znews, sponsor LeadTek Vietnam, and a team of prestigious advisors who are experts in the field of artificial intelligence.
