The glorious 100-year journey of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism began with the event when leader Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh ) founded Thanh Nien newspaper on June 21, 1925.

After its establishment, Thanh Nien newspaper successfully completed its mission of disseminating revolutionary ideas to the masses and working class, contributing to the political, ideological, organizational and moral preparation for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam .
