14 teams participate in the final round of the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament

The national finals of the NUC National Student Basketball Tournament 2023 brought together 8 men's teams and 6 women's teams.

In the men's competition, the 8 participating teams are: Hanoi Pedagogical University, Da Nang University, University of Transport and Communications, Foreign Trade University, Vietnam Maritime University, Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University, RMIT University, and Hoa Sen University.

In the women's competition, the six participating teams are: Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Da Nang University, and Hanoi Pedagogical University.

The University of Da Nang , the Foreign Trade University, and the Hanoi Pedagogical University are the schools that have both male and female teams participating in the final round.

This is the second year the tournament has been held. In the first year, RMIT University was the champion in the men's category. They only retained 30% of their members in their quest to defend their title. Ton Duc Thang University was the champion in the women's category. This team also made several changes to their lineup.

The 2023 National Student Basketball Championship Finals will take place in Hanoi from December 4th to 9th. All matches of the NUC 2023 National Finals will be livestreamed on the tournament's fanpage, YouTube channel, and the Bóng rổ TV fanpage.

The tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education - Ministry of Education and Training, Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE), and Vietcontent Joint Stock Company under a long-term agreement.
