150 booths attend the Vietnam International Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2024

From October 31st to November 2nd, the Vietnam International Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Exhibition 2024 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City.

With approximately 150 booths from Vietnamese and international businesses, the Vietnam International Semiconductor Microchip Exhibition 2024 will showcase products in various fields such as: training, educational software, business management support software, manufacturing simulation software; semiconductor microchip design, testing, and calibration; chemicals and surface treatment equipment; electronic measuring equipment; personal protective equipment for high-tech factories; cutting, engraving, machining, and surface treatment solutions for circuit boards;…

The event, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Industrial Support Development (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with relevant units, aims to support businesses in connecting, linking, forming joint ventures, and cooperating with domestic and foreign partners; promoting the development of high-tech industries in Ho Chi Minh City; and increasing opportunities for trade promotion.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, the Organizing Committee will design exhibition booths for the semiconductor industry based on specific themes to meet the needs of businesses; organize a human resource development space to serve the development of the semiconductor market - connecting applied technology solutions, connecting business cooperation and investment; organize a space connecting science and technology and supporting industries to promote Vietnam's smart factories to better meet the requirements of global supply chains; organize a space for showcasing technology products, displaying and demonstrating models and products from research and application organizations/units from institutes, universities and science and technology organizations both domestically and internationally.

In addition, we will build a common home model, promoting businesses whose products have been selected for the Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand Award to participate in market development activities, investment cooperation, and manufacturing.

In addition, forums and seminars on the themes: "Promoting investment cooperation opportunities in the semiconductor industry in Ho Chi Minh City", "Establishing a semiconductor industry ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City"; technical workshops, product presentations, and technology demonstrations by leading units and organizations will be held alternately during the exhibition days.

Practical tours (expected to include visits to the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park; visits to manufacturing enterprises in the semiconductor and optoelectronics sectors in Ho Chi Minh City); and business networking programs between enterprises, utilizing automated business connection software with a database of thousands of Vietnamese businesses, will also take place.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade will also coordinate with other units to organize accompanying events, including the Vietnam International Exhibition of Optoelectronics, Laser and Display & Touch Technology 2024. This exhibition will showcase products and technologies in the field of optics, which is closely related to the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
