181 students participated in the 27th Quang Tri Province Youth Informatics Competition - 2025

Today, April 26, in Dong Ha City, the 27th Quang Tri Province Youth Informatics Competition - 2025 took place.

The contest was attended by 181 primary, secondary and high school students in the province. The contest content includes: Programming contest for primary, secondary and high school students; Creative product contest (software, hardware, integrated products) for secondary and high school students.

The year 2025 marks the 27th anniversary of the Youth Informatics Contest, which has accompanied Quang Tri youth on the path of learning, exploring and improving their knowledge and skills in information technology. With the responsible participation of all levels and sectors, the contest has been successfully organized in both breadth and depth, both in quantity and quality. The content and format of the contest are increasingly innovated, updated with technology trends, suitable for practical situations; the organization method is gradually professional and modern from the stage of creating exam questions, exploiting exam software and grading.

The important value that the contest brings is to promote the movement of learning information technology, applying information technology in learning and daily life. The contest has created a useful and meaningful playground to discover information technology talents in the school sector, creating a premise to contribute to the development of high-quality young human resources, actively promoting the intelligence and creative potential of young people participating in digital transformation, arousing enthusiasm to contribute to building the homeland and the country.

This year’s contest has a relatively even distribution of contestants among localities, demonstrating proper attention to learning computer science at the grassroots level. Contestants participated in the contest with a serious, confident, proactive spirit in the process of doing the test, strictly following the regulations of the examination room. Many creative products are highly practical, which shows that they are interested in investing and practicing.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 First prizes, 8 Second prizes, 11 Third prizes and 18 Consolation prizes; awarded the First, Second and Third prizes to the delegations of Dong Ha City, Hai Lang District and Quang Tri Town. The Steering Committee of the Youth Informatics Contest of Quang Tri Province selected excellent candidates to participate in the regional round of the National Youth Informatics Contest 2025 in Da Nang City.
