2 foreigners found dead in villa, many used wine bottles

(NLĐO) – Staff at a villa complex in Hoi An City, Quang Nam province, discovered two foreigners, one male and one female, dead in two separate rooms.

On December 30, the Quang Nam Provincial Police announced that they are continuing to investigate the cause of death of two foreigners found dead in a tourist villa in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province.

Earlier, at approximately 11:18 AM on December 26th, at the Hoa Ch. tourist villa (Group 9, Van Lang Hamlet, Cam Thanh Commune, Hoi An City), villa staff unexpectedly discovered a woman born in 1991, a British national, deceased in room 101, and a man born in 1988, a South African national, deceased in room 201.

Both victims registered for long-term temporary residence at the tourist villa from July 4, 2024.

Upon receiving the report, the Quang Nam Provincial Police directed relevant police units and localities to conduct a scene investigation and autopsy (external examination of the body), determining that there were no signs of abrasions or external force.

At the scene, authorities seized several empty used liquor bottles. Currently, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
