On the afternoon of November 6th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training conference to improve tourism skills in Dong Hung district.

The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered the opening remarks at the training conference.

200 delegates from the communes of Dong Cac, Nguyen Xa, and Phong Chau listened to presentations on several topics: an overview and dissemination of regulations on tourism activities; environmental protection in tourism development; skills in handling situations when welcoming tourists; psychological characteristics of tourists by market, gender, and age; types of tourism businesses such as accommodation, food, and shopping; and an introduction to the smart tourism portal… The delegates were also provided with materials related to the tourism sector in Thai Binh .

Through tourism training and professional development, the people of Dong Cac, Nguyen Xa, and Phong Chau communes will leverage their local intangible cultural heritage, master the knowledge and skills to welcome tourists, demonstrate hospitality, and create a positive impression in community tourism development. This will contribute to encouraging tourists to return to visit and experience Dong Hung and Thai Binh province.
