On the morning of September 11th, Nhan Dan Newspaper held a ceremony to announce the music group that will participate in the second year of the Good Morning Vietnam project. This annual event not only aims to spread world- class music to Vietnam but also carries profound humanitarian value, as the proceeds from ticket sales are used for charitable purposes.
BTC announced that all proceeds from ticket sales for the event will be donated to support those affected by Typhoon No. 3.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , and Head of the program's steering committee, stated: " Good Morning Vietnam, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with IB Group, will return for the second time in early October 2024 with Bond - the world's best string quartet, who previously visited Vietnam in 2015 and 2016."
However, this is the first time the four talented girls have come before the public at such a meaningful event to contribute to charitable activities and promote tourism in Vietnam.

Bond Live In Vietnam is an affirmation of Nhan Dan Newspaper's commitment to continuing to bring world-class music to music lovers in Vietnam through professionally organized programs; and at the same time, contributing to spreading Vietnamese cultural values through familiar melodies to friends around the world.
"The success of the Kenny G Live In Vietnam program has affirmed the correct direction of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and we believe that Bond Live In Vietnam , as well as future programs, will be warmly received by the public nationwide," Mr. Le Quoc Minh added.

Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong - Program Production Director shared: “As a company with experience bringing many international music legends to Vietnam, IB Group is proud to continue contributing to the Good Morning Vietnam project with the participation of the legendary Bond Quartet. This is Bond's first solo concert in Vietnam, and even more special, it is also the largest concert the group has ever held in our country, with a stage and audience meeting international standards.”
BTC stated that after Kenny G performed in Vietnam in November 2023, the process of inviting Bond to Vietnam was immediately initiated. "The criteria for the Good Morning Vietnam music series is to invite instrumentalists, and Bond meets this criterion and aligns with the band's schedule in the global show, allowing them to perform in October."

"Over the past few days, our attention has been focused on the flood-stricken areas. Even though the country is facing floods, the economy must continue to develop. We want to use music to connect people through love and have decided to donate all proceeds from ticket sales to a charity fund supporting those affected by Typhoon No. 3, so that music can spread and connect people's love," Mr. Duong expressed.
Bond Live In Vietnam will feature 20 songs, some of which have been revamped for added appeal. "I can confirm this is one of Bond's concerts with the largest scale and the highest attendance in the world. We are delighted that Bond has come and made a difference since the band began performing in 2001," said Mr. Duong.

The organizers are keeping the entire list of songs Bond will perform in Vietnam a secret to create a surprise for the audience. Mr. Le Quoc Minh revealed that the song "Victory" will definitely be on the list. Similar to the Kenny G project, the organizers will create a music video promoting famous Vietnamese landmarks with Bond's performance. However, the filming location will be outside of Hanoi. The organizers stated that the group doesn't have much time, so the day after the show ends, they only have a few hours to film the music video before returning to England. The specific song chosen for the music video remains a secret.
Bond Live In Vietnam, taking place at 8 PM on October 5th, 2024 at the My Dinh National Convention Center, promises to be a night of music filled with diverse emotions on the Hanoi stage. Audiences will be immersed in a world-class, sophisticated yet intimate and nostalgic musical atmosphere.
Bond is an all-female string quartet consisting of Tania Davis (violin), Eos Counsell (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola), and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello). This string quartet from London, England, is globally renowned for its blend of classical and modern music, creating truly unique pieces. Bond's musical style has been compared to that of the famous violinist Vanessa Mae, as they combine classical, rock, pop, Latin, folk, jazz, electro, with touches of Indian and Western influences.
Active since 2000, for the past 24 years, the four members of Bond have maintained their youthful, modern performance style and held the title of the most successful string quartet in the history of world music. Bond is a rare international string quartet with a large fan base worldwide, including in Vietnam, thanks to their cheerful, easy-to-listen-to music and extremely captivating performance style. To date, Bond has sold over 5 million albums globally and is the most successful string quartet in the history of world music. After more than two decades, Bond still has a huge global fan base, with concerts always packed with audiences.
The band's songs, including "Shine," "Victory," "Hungarian," "Explosive," and "Summer ," have become beloved tunes worldwide. Bond visited Vietnam in 2015 and 2016, but performed on a smaller scale. Therefore, although this is their third visit to Vietnam, it's the first time a general audience has had the opportunity to enjoy Bond's wonderful music and style on a Hanoi stage.
