4 monuments with entrance fees in Hanoi's Old Quarter

Hanoi will start selling tickets to visit Bach Ma Temple and Kim Ngan Communal House from December 8, with ticket price of 20,000 VND/trip.

According to the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, the fee collection is carried out according to Resolution 66 issued on November 27 by the Hanoi People's Council.

Of which, four historical relics and cultural works in Hanoi's Old Quarter have adjusted their entrance fees. Specifically, Bach Ma Temple (76 Hang Buom) and Kim Ngan Communal House (42-44 Hang Bac) will start selling entrance tickets from December 8. Quan De Temple (28 Hang Buom) and the Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu) will collect fees from January 1, 2026.

These are all destinations loved by domestic and foreign tourists for their antiquity and diverse cultural experiences. These places are open every day of the week.

The ticket price is 20,000 VND/trip. Free tickets for people with severe disabilities and children under 16 years old. In case children do not have documents proving their age, the management board will waive the fee based on the height under 1.3m.

Students aged 16 and over; seniors (aged 60 and over); people with revolutionary contributions; people under social policy; lonely elderly people and people in remote, mountainous areas with special difficulties are entitled to a 50% discount on ticket prices.

This is the first time these cultural relics and works have applied entrance fees after a long period of free opening.

Revenue from ticket sales will be paid into the state budget to serve the management, restoration and promotion of relic values ​​in the old quarter.

On Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), entrance to cultural relics and works is free.

For the relics of Bach Ma Temple (76 Hang Buom), Kim Ngan Communal House (42-44 Hang Bac), Quan De Temple (28 Hang Buom), admission is free on the last day of the lunar year, the first and second days of the Lunar New Year.
