In 5 months, Ba Ria-Vung Tau attracted more than 4 billion USD in investment

That was the information emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the 2025 investment conference, held at The Grand Ho Tram on the morning of May 30.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has an important strategic position, being the gateway to the East Sea of ​​the Southeast region and the whole country.

With the support of the Central Government, the efforts of the locality; the help of ministries, branches, diplomatic agencies, business associations... the determination of domestic and foreign investors, many investment projects in many fields have been formed and put into operation in the province very early.

Many large-scale projects have created high-class brands, contributing to the spread and continuous development to this day. After more than 30 years of establishment, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province currently has more than 1,200 domestic and foreign investment projects with a total capital of about 54 billion USD. Of which, there are 503 foreign investment projects with a total capital of about 35 billion USD from 30 countries and territories.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and leaders of ministries, branches and provinces took souvenir photos with enterprises receiving Certificates and Investment Policy Decisions.

In the first 5 months of 2025, the province has granted investment certificates to 73 domestic and foreign projects with a total capital of nearly 100 trillion VND (of which FDI capital is more than 4 billion USD). "Today's event of granting investment certificates is a clear demonstration of the province's potential and advantages in terms of investors' confidence in the investment environment in Ba Ria-Vung Tau", emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates and Investment Policy Decisions to 53 projects with a total investment of over 1 billion USD and 71 trillion VND. Among them, there are many outstanding projects such as: Colorful Nylon Fiber Company Limited's artificial fiber factory with a capital of 120 million USD; Long Son Petrochemical Complex project with an increased capital of 400 million USD; 3/2 Street urban area project with nearly 35 trillion VND; My Xuan International General Port with more than 5,700 billion VND...
