On the morning of December 5, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City English Teaching and Research Association, Anh Duong Foreign Language Center - BETMA ENGLISH and local authorities organized a program to give gifts to support students and teenagers affected by storm No. 13 in Gia Lai province.

500 gifts including essential school supplies and white notebooks worth 100,000 VND each were given to primary school students at Phuoc Thang Primary School No. 2 (Tuy Phuoc Dong Commune) and Cat Thang Primary School (Ngo May Commune). Along with that were 30 cash scholarships, contributing to helping students stabilize their studies after the natural disaster.

Mr. Truong Chan Sang, Member of the Student Cultural Committee, Ho Chi Minh City English Research & Teaching Association, said that he has accompanied Gia Lai students in career guidance and educational activities since 2019. When he heard that Gia Lai students were greatly affected after storm No. 13, he tried to mobilize his colleagues and benefactors to join hands to support and help students confidently go to school, continue their learning journey to conquer their dreams and ambitions in the future.

In Tuy Phuoc Bac and Tuy Phuoc Dong communes, the Central Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union donated 2,000 welfare bags to people in difficult circumstances affected by rain and floods. Each welfare bag is worth 500,000 VND, including essential necessities and 200,000 VND in cash.
