500 athletes attend the Sports Festival of O Cho Dua ward

Athletes compete in many events, many age groups, with 8 events.

On the morning of October 25, O Cho Dua ward opened the 1st O Cho Dua Ward Sports Congress - 2025, welcoming the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Responding to the spirit of "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland", the congress attracted 500 athletes, representing the Party, government, Fatherland Front , mass organizations, residential groups, schools, units, agencies, and businesses in the ward. Athletes competed in many events, many age groups, with 8 events: Tug of war, table tennis, badminton, football, athletics, chess, folk dance, and pickleball.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward Trinh Dan Ly emphasized that immediately after its establishment, O Cho Dua Ward actively promoted cultural and sports activities, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, solidarity and cohesion in the community in accordance with the spirit of "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

The 1st O Cho Dua Ward Sports Congress - 2025 is a great festival for all people, an opportunity to promote the mass sports movement; at the same time, discover and nurture outstanding athletes representing the ward to participate in the higher-level sports congress.

At the ceremony, delegates and people enjoyed many exciting activities: parade to show off forces; welcome art performances.
