Exciting Hong Ha Ward Sports Festival

On the morning of October 25, Hong Ha ward held the opening ceremony of the 1st Sports Festival - 2025, attracting the participation of nearly 1,000 athletes from 30 units, with 9 competitions.

In his opening speech, Chairman of Hong Ha Ward People's Committee Le Hong Thang said that in recent times, Hong Ha Ward has always paid attention to developing cultural and sports activities to improve health, improve human physical fitness, and contribute positively to human resource development and improve people's spiritual life.

Today's congress is a special milestone in the journey of construction and development of Hong Ha ward, a unit formed from the merger of many wards with rich cultural and sports traditions.

Since its establishment, under the leadership of the city, the solidarity of the Party Committee, government and people, Hong Ha ward has quickly stabilized its organization, developed comprehensively, especially building a rich and cohesive cultural and spiritual life.

The congress gathered nearly 1,000 athletes from 30 units, participating in 9 competitions. Through the congress, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Ha Ward hopes to discover and nurture sports talents, select athletes for the ward sports team to participate in the upcoming Capital Sports Festival.

At the opening ceremony, athletes performed Tai Chi, Plum Blossom Martial Arts, Taekwondo, modern dance, folk dance, lion and dragon dance, etc., attracting the attention of a large number of people attending the congress.
