On the evening of February 27th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism announced the schedule for the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival in 2025.
At the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, stated that this year's festival is one of the key activities aimed at commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to Ms. Nguyen Cam Tu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center, the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival will take place from March 1-9 with a series of diverse activities at various locations such as the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Street, Lam Son Park, historical sites, cultural relics, and tourist destinations.
Highlights of this year's event include the opening ceremony; a mass performance of traditional Vietnamese ao dai dances with approximately 3,000 participants on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and over 50,000 participants at various locations across 21 districts and Thu Duc City.
