Vung Tau High School was established in 1954. Over the past 70 years, many generations of students from this school have achieved success and become pillars in their respective fields.

On the morning of December 7th, Vung Tau High School (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) held a ceremony to celebrate its 70th anniversary and receive the Second Class Labor Medal.
This is the second time the oldest school in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has had the honor of receiving this prestigious award.
Previously, Vung Tau High School was awarded the First, Second, and Third Class Labor Orders, along with numerous certificates of merit and emulation flags from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training , and the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Seventy years ago, when the school was first established, it had only two classrooms with over 100 students. Today, that number has grown to around 50 classrooms, with nearly 2,500 students.

Over the years, the graduation rate has consistently reached 100%, with many students winning top prizes in provincial and national-level student competitions. The school is honored to be among the top 100 high schools with the highest university entrance exam scores nationwide.
It is also among the top 200 schools prioritized for direct admission to universities within the Ho Chi Minh City National University system and other prestigious universities through academic transcript review.
Notably, many generations of students from this school have achieved success, becoming pillars in their respective fields. The success of generations of students from Vung Tau High School is a testament to the quality of education provided by the school.

Speaking at the celebration, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Principal of Vung Tau High School, said that to continue the tradition and meet the demands of the times, in the coming period the school will focus on improving quality, innovating methods, and applying digital transformation to teaching and learning.
In addition to focusing on knowledge, the school concentrates on developing skills, fostering creativity, and promoting a spirit of self-learning so that each student has the opportunity to develop comprehensively.
