The results were announced by the Ministry of Education and Training on the afternoon of August 8, after the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IOAI) 2025.
Specifically, Nguyen Viet Trung Nhan, grade 10, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences , Hanoi National University; Nguyen Huu Tuan, grade 11, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences and Nguyen Phu Nhan, grade 11, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted in Da Nang brought home 3 Gold Medals.
A Silver Medal went to Nguyen Nhat Minh, grade 10, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences.

Three Bronze Medals were awarded to: Nguyen Khac Trung Kien, grade 12, Hanoi National University of Education High School; Bui Dam Quan, grade 12, Hanoi National University of Education High School; and Hoang Cong Bao Long, grade 11, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang.
In addition, Bui Quang Nguyen, grade 12, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, won an Encouragement prize.
In the team event, Vietnam team 2 with 4 members: Nguyen Khac Trung Kien, Hoang Cong Bao Long, Nguyen Phu Nhan and Bui Dam Quan excellently ranked fourth, after teams from Poland, Russia and Hungary.
With this outstanding achievement, the Vietnamese team rose to the top 4 countries in terms of achievements in this year's exam, affirming the position of Vietnamese education in the international arena.
The 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad will be held in Beijing, China, from August 2 to 8, with the participation of 300 contestants from 60 countries and territories. The Vietnamese team has 8 students participating.
