(Dan Tri) - Known to the audience as the runner-up of "The Voice Kids 2019" and "bolero prodigy", Khanh An attracts attention with her gentle appearance and sweet voice at the age of 18.
In episode 12 of the program Solo with Bolero , Khanh An impressed with her image wearing a white ao dai, showing off her sweet voice in the song Muoi oi .
This is a song from the movie of the same name starring Quyen Linh, and was performed by singer To My. Notably, To My is also a judge on the show Solo with Bolero.

Khanh An said that she was born and raised in Hanoi , so performing a song with a sweet Southern folk melody was a big challenge for her. However, the performance received many compliments from the judges.
The 18-year-old singer said: "When I sang the song Muoi oi , I felt like I was solving a difficult but interesting problem from the show. The song is good and sweet, so I tried my best to conquer the judges."
Khanh An shared that her motivation to come to Solo with Bolero was because of her grandmother's wish. She loved the show since the first seasons and wished to see her granddaughter stand on this stage one day.
"When she was seriously ill, that was when I came to the contest. She hoped that during her treatment, she would hear me sing, which would give her the motivation to overcome her illness. But unfortunately, she had not heard me sing on this stage before she left this world. That is what I regret the most," the singer recalled.

Singer Ngoc Son exclaimed: "Singing a hit song again will have comparisons, but Khanh An performed it very well, with her own color, full of emotions, and full of feelings." The male singer also hopes that the 18-year-old girl will be a star of bolero music in the future.
To My, who performed the original song Muoi oi , was moved to tears when she saw Khanh An step onto the stage. She praised the 18-year-old singer for his courage in choosing a song with a wide range and difficult to perform.
Quang Le also commented: "Your voice is very passionate. Even though you were emotional, you still maintained your composure so as not to affect your performance."

As for Khanh An, she said that coming to this contest, she hopes to learn more and gain more experience performing on the big stage. Each contest has new lessons, helping her in her future path.
Khanh An is currently a student at the National Academy of Music. Despite having a solid foundation from the Voice Kids 2019 competition, Khanh An still maintains her studies. She said that singing events usually take place on weekends or in the evenings, so she can still balance them.
