Sounds from pottery: Leading the public to the land of indigenous cultural memories

GOm show – a music project by the Dan Do artist group with most of its instruments made from ceramics is a wordless performance that still leads viewers back to the memories of indigenous culture, expressing a slice of the Vietnamese soul.

From the gentle tap of an earthenware jar to the clear sound of a ceramic bowl... seemingly silent objects suddenly speak their own voices.

Through two shows in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City last July, the audience was able to enter a world rich in feelings, where each layer of sound awakens the imagination, evokes cultural memories, and leads listeners through diverse but unified sound spaces./.
