Bloomberg revealed that iOS 19 will integrate smart battery management mode under the combination of Apple's AI, Apple Intelligence.

This feature automatically adjusts system settings based on user usage habits to save energy.

The data collected will be used to predict when to limit the use of certain apps or features. Additionally, an indicator on the lock screen will show the estimated time to fully charge the battery.

While iPhones already have various battery settings (like battery health, charge cycles, charge limits), AI is expected to help fine-tune battery usage more efficiently.

This intelligent battery management feature is expected to be available on all iPhones compatible with iOS 19.

However, some information suggests that the development of this feature may be driven by the iPhone 17 Air, a rumored phone model with a special design and possibly a smaller battery capacity than other iPhone models.
