These are handmade cakes made from natural ingredients and supplemented with nuts; do not contain preservatives or artificial colors, suitable for those who want to control their sugar intake. These cakes are sold mainly online on social networking sites, are a popular trend, and are well received by many people. Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong (Que Vo ward) said: "This is the first year I have known and used healthy mooncakes. The cakes are fragrant, delicious, and not only provide enough energy but also do not make you fat, so my family and I really like them."

In addition to quality, reputable products, some types of cheap cakes with unknown origins, poorly packaged, without labels or with ambiguous information are still found in some traditional markets, small retail stores and sold on social networks. These are products that pose a potential risk of food safety and hygiene, directly affecting the health of consumers.

To ensure the health and interests of consumers, authorities need to focus on inspecting and monitoring the moon cake market, preventing counterfeit and unsafe products from circulating on the market. Consumers are advised to only buy moon cakes at reputable supermarkets and stores; carefully check the origin, label, expiry date, ingredients, and anti-counterfeit stamps; and immediately notify authorities if they detect products suspected of being counterfeit or of poor quality.
