Many important plans that were stalled by the crisis will be restarted and vigorously promoted by Bamboo Airways.

Bamboo Airways leaders also revealed, Regarding its flight network, after completing connections with all 22 domestic commercial airports, Bamboo Airways will focus on expanding its international flight network in the near future. Priority will be given to connecting with major airports in Asia, Europe, and Australia… This will contribute to promoting Vietnam as an aviation gateway for Asia in general, enhancing the country's status as a destination.

In particular, Bamboo Airways plans to increase its fleet size to 100 aircraft in the period 2028 - 2030 depending on conditions. The work of upgrading services towards international standards continues to be a consistent policy, to effectively approach and serve customers in developed countries.

“The ultimate goal is to take Bamboo Airways beyond the limits of a Vietnamese brand to become an airline brand of Asian and world stature,” the Chairman of Bamboo Airways expressed his ambition.

In addition, to support core transportation activities, Bamboo Airways is building surrounding ecosystems, such as providing ground services, technical infrastructure, catering, cargo transportation, etc.

A modern PSS system will also be a necessary condition for Bamboo Airways to realize its goal of joining an airline alliance in the near future. In particular, throughout these goals, absolute safety in operations remains the guiding principle of all the airline's activities.

Entering the Asian market

Continuously opening international routes recently, Bamboo Airways has the ambition to expand the international market, first of all the Asian market.

This does not exclude even the most drastic changes if necessary, including in senior positions on the board of directors and executive board,” said Mr. Trong.

To prepare for these ambitious goals, the restructuring process towards a leaner organization and more professional expertise will continue to be thoroughly carried out by the company.

The composition of the board of directors will also be supplemented and renewed to create development momentum. New professional councils will be established, in charge of key operations such as technical safety and security; exploitation and services; business, etc.
