In 2023, the Steering Committees at all levels proactively and decisively directed and guided the implementation of the campaign, achieving positive results. Departments, agencies, mass organizations, and the Steering Committees of districts and cities all developed plans or issued documents to implement the campaign, integrating it with political and professional tasks and patriotic emulation movements; intensified propaganda through various practical forms; applied digital platforms to enhance the effectiveness of propaganda, conducted social opinion surveys, organized online competitions to select favorite OCOP products; organized Vietnamese product sales points, brought Vietnamese goods to rural areas, and points for introducing and selling OCOP and unique provincial products; supported members, people, and businesses in participating in product promotion activities and applying advanced machinery and equipment in processing OCOP and unique provincial products... contributing to the widespread adoption of Vietnamese goods among consumers.
Comrade Le Van Binh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals.
Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province commended the efforts and results achieved by the Steering Committee of the Campaign in the past period; pointed out some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome; and at the same time, requested all levels and sectors to continue promoting propaganda to raise awareness and habits of consuming Vietnamese goods among the people, and to raise awareness among manufacturers in improving designs and enhancing product quality to meet the requirements and tastes of consumers. In 2024, each member of the Steering Committee of the Campaign will organize an activity to innovate information and propaganda using information technology and digital platforms; strictly comply with the registration of key tasks and breakthrough tasks; control and increase the rate of use of state budget in public procurement, ensuring the functionality and quality of products; improve the quality of e-commerce activities, fairs, and markets bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas; Organize online competitions on OCOP products, forums to listen to the opinions of businesses and distributors of Vietnamese goods, and forums to listen to the voices of consumers; innovate and further improve the quality and effectiveness of social opinion surveys on the campaign; strengthen inspections of counterfeit and substandard goods... For the Provincial People's Committee, continue to direct the review and promulgation of necessary mechanisms and policies to promote the development of OCOP products and the province's unique characteristics.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign in 2023.
