Handing over houses to disadvantaged women in Ngu Hanh Son ward

DNO - On the morning of July 18, the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son ward coordinated with the City Association for the Protection of Poor Women and Children to hand over charity houses to disadvantaged women's households.

The family of Mrs. Phung Thi Thu My (group 32, Ngu Hanh Son ward) is in a difficult situation regarding housing. She and her husband are manual laborers with unstable income and have 3 children of school age. After reviewing the situation, the Association for the Protection of Poor Women and Children of the City supported 60 million VND to help Mrs. My's family have more conditions to build a new house.

After more than 3 months of construction, the house was completed, helping Mrs. My's family realize their dream of settling down, adding motivation to work and increase income.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Mr. Huynh Van Hoa, Chairman of the City Association for the Protection of Poor Women and Children, congratulated the family on having a stable place to live and encouraged Mrs. My and her husband to continue working hard to take care of their children.

On this occasion, leaders of Ngu Hanh Son ward and residential area committee gave the family essential items to help stabilize their lives soon.
