The South Korean newspaper Financial News highly praised Sun World Ba Na Hills, noting that the resort attracts visitors from South Korea due to its Golden Bridge and the atmosphere of an old European town.
In a new article published on August 16th titled "One in Three Tourists at Sun World Ba Na Hills is Korean," writer Jeong Sang-hee explained the reasons why tourists from the land of kimchi are so captivated by Ba Na Hills.

According to her interview with a representative of the resort, one of the reasons that attracts Korean tourists to Ba Na Hills is that it suits their mindset. Korean tourists like the atmosphere of an old European town and are interested in places that receive many positive reviews on Instagram. Sun World Ba Na Hills, located at an altitude of about 1500m above sea level, is considered by Financial News to be the perfect combination of the beauty of European Renaissance architecture and the pristine beauty of Vietnamese nature.

“Ba Na Hills boasts a cool, temperate European climate year-round, with attractions such as the French Village, the Sun God Waterfall, the Moon Castle, the Eclipse Square, and the Golden Bridge. The Mercure Danang French Village hotel is as beautiful as a medieval castle from a movie. Korean tourists rate Ba Na Hills as one of the best places to explore in Da Nang because it has so many fascinating places,” wrote Jeong Sang-hee. It seems that Ba Na Hills brings together the cultural essence of various European countries. Visitors can experience the atmosphere of different European nations such as France, Germany, and Italy. You can dine at Beer Plaza – a vibrant place with Oktoberfest-style beer festivals – and then relax by the Sun God Waterfall, which resembles the Peterhof Summer Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia,” the Financial News writer suggested.

Of course, one of the most popular experiences for Korean tourists is visiting the Golden Bridge. Financial News calls it an icon of Vietnamese tourism, a very popular location on social media and attracting worldwide attention. On the social media platform Naver, many Korean tourists also expressed their love for Sun World Ba Na Hills. “There are so many reasons to go to Ba Na,” “I went to Ba Na Hills and it was amazing. A very worthwhile experience…” Notably, many Korean tourists noted that one of the reasons they chose to visit Ba Na was because the cost of traveling to Da Nang was even cheaper and more reasonable than traveling to Jeju Island. According to statistics from the tourist area, Korean tourists accounted for approximately 33% of the total number of visitors to Sun World Ba Na Hills in the first few months of 2023.

Not only Korean media, but Sun World Ba Na Hills has also recently received continuous attention and positive reviews from media outlets in other countries. In an article published at the end of July, Travel+Leisure suggested that Sun World Ba Na Hills is the best experience for families in Da Nang and Hoi An, describing it as "a fantasy and adventure world, with the main attraction being the Golden Bridge."
