BIDV Metlife Life Insurance pays 343 million VND in insurance benefits to customers

On December 27th, the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank ( BIDV ) – Hung Vuong Branch, in collaboration with BIDV Metlife Life Insurance Company Limited, held a ceremony to pay life insurance benefits to the family of customer Do Tien Hao, residing at Team 6, Trung Vuong Commune, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province.

Leaders of BIDV - Hung Vuong Branch and BIDV MetLife Insurance Company Limited presented benefits to the family of customer Do Tien Hao.

Mr. Hao is a customer of BIDV - Hung Vuong Branch and has a life insurance policy. On December 1, 2024, his family informed and submitted a claim to BIDV - Hung Vuong Branch and BIDV MetLife Life Insurance Company Limited regarding his urgent hospitalization and surgery to treat a tumor compressing his spinal cord...

Based on the customer's medical records, the Insurance Claims Department of the Company promptly verified the information and conducted an assessment. After completing the assessment, based on Article 5.2 - Death or Permanent Disability Benefit of the Happy Gift product terms and conditions in Contract 80092502, BIDV Metlife Life Insurance approved the payment of the Total Permanent Disability benefit of VND 270 million; the customer's account value is VND 30,081,544. In addition, Mr. Hao purchased a policy for his child with a premium waiver benefit under the name of the insured, Do Bao Han, for VND 43 million. Thus, the total benefit for the policyholder is VND 343 million.

At the payment ceremony, leaders of BIDV - Hung Vuong Branch and BIDV MetLife Life Insurance Company Limited presented the benefits to Mr. Hao's relatives.
