(CLO) On January 13th, the Ho Chi Minh City branch of Nhan Dan Newspaper and Saigon Water Supply Corporation Limited presented the Nhan Dan Newspaper's Spring Edition 2025 to officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard.
Over the past period, Nhan Dan Newspaper has consistently focused on information and propaganda, publishing special features reflecting on the work of ensuring national security and defense, combating smuggling, as well as the professional activities of the Border Guard Force of Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the task is to protect the sovereignty, political security, and social order and safety in the coastal border areas and port checkpoints of the city.
The annual distribution of the Nhan Dan Newspaper during the Lunar New Year is a traditional activity, carried out every year during the Tet holiday by the Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with ministries, departments, provincial and city Party committees, units, businesses, economic groups, Vietnam Post Corporation, and the Central Newspaper Distribution Company.
This is also a meaningful spiritual gift from the team of Party journalists and units, aimed at sharing and encouraging soldiers who have to celebrate Tet away from their families and hometowns, performing their duties of guarding and protecting the borders, seas, and islands of the Fatherland.
Colonel Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard, expressed his joy and gratitude for the meaningful New Year gift that Nhan Dan Newspaper and the unit had presented to the officers and soldiers of the city's Border Guard on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year. Through Nhan Dan Newspaper, officers and soldiers of the units will be able to promptly grasp the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
