Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Festival of the Quintessence of the Great Forest

The 2025 Festival of the Quintessence of the Great Forest - Blue Sea Convergence with the theme "Aspiration for the Blue Sea - Shining Great Forest" takes place from August 29 to September 2; with a series of special activities such as: Introducing Gia Lai ocean tuna culinary art; Coffee and Gong Culture Festival; Culinary Festival "Delicious dishes from Bazan and the Sea", displaying OCOP products, craft villages; traditional variety and art shows; Street Festival; Light Festival...

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Cao Thanh Thuong affirmed: “This is the first festival that fully gathers the cultural, culinary, tourism and artistic quintessence of both the East and West regions of the province. Despite the large amount of work, the urgent time, and unfavorable weather, with a sense of responsibility and high determination, the departments, branches, sectors, and related units inside and outside the province have coordinated smoothly; contributing to ensuring the festival takes place safely and successfully. I believe that each person will bring with them beautiful memories, feelings of attachment and love for the land and people of Gia Lai”.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to award certificates of merit to 4 groups, 7 individuals and 9 sponsoring units that have made many contributions to the festival.

Following the closing ceremony is the "Light Festival" program with the theme "Great Forest - Blue Sea Reaching Out to Shine" consisting of 2 chapters.

Chapter I with the theme "Great Forest - Blue Sea Reaching Out to Shine" opened with artistic colors recreating the rhythm of fishing village life through the performances "Blue Sea Shining with Sun - Fishing Village Awakening" and "Great Forest Sound - Highland Dance" with bustling gongs and festival fires; performed by dance troupes and circus teams.

Next is the performance "Unified Melody - Converging Power" as an affirmation of the strong connection between the sea and the mountains, between the two lands that have just converged.

The highlight was the drone light show combined with DJ, turning the sky of Nguyen Tat Thanh Square into a brilliant light stage. Accordingly, about 400 technological flying devices (drones) recreated symbols typical of Gia Lai province such as: communal house, traditional martial arts, bronze drums, Cham towers, tuna, coffee...
