Inside the only 1,000 billion VND expressway tunnel project through Ha Tinh

The project investor and local authorities are urgently completing the final procedures for site clearance to hand over to the construction unit of the Deo But expressway tunnel project through Ha Tinh province.

According to the leader of Project Management Board 6, on October 8, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a resolution to adjust the policy of changing the purpose of using forests, forest land and rice fields from two crops or more of the North-South expressway construction project in the East phase 2021 - 2025 according to Resolution No. 273/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated July 11, 2022. The adjusted content includes the forest area arising from the Vung Ang - Bung expressway component project.

After the National Assembly passed a resolution to adjust, the unit is coordinating with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province and related units to speed up the completion of related procedures to serve the conversion of forest use purposes so that the construction of Deo But tunnel can go smoothly.

The Vung Ang - Bung expressway component project belongs to the North - South expressway construction project in the East phase 2021 - 2025, with a length of 55.34 km passing through two provinces of Ha Tinh (12.9 km) and Quang Binh (42.44 km) with the starting point at the intersection of National Highway 12C, connecting Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway in Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province and the end point connecting Bung - Van Ninh expressway in Cu Nam commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province.

The project has a total investment of 12,548 billion VND, with Project Management Board 6 (Ministry of Transport) as the investor and the construction contractor consortium is Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. - Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation - Company 484 - Construction Company 368 - Company 479 Hoa Binh; Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Company - Lizen Company.
