Can Tho University Hospital connects with many domestic and foreign partners to bring increasingly high treatment efficiency to patients.

On May 29, Can Tho University Hospital (under Can Tho University) celebrated its 3rd anniversary of establishment and development and received the decision to establish the Faculty of Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation. Thereby, increasing the total number of departments, centers, and units of the hospital to 18, with a scale of 300 beds.

In the past 3 years, Can Tho University Hospital has examined and treated over 249,150 domestic and foreign patients. The hospital is also a practice facility for health students in Can Tho City.

Associate Professor - Doctor - Doctor Dam Van Cuong, Director of Nam Can Tho University Hospital, said that after 3 years of operation, the hospital has been invested in spacious, modern facilities, advanced medical equipment, meeting international standards. The hospital has signed cooperation agreements with Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC), University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Can Tho Central General Hospital, Hue Central Hospital, Binh Dan Hospital (HCMC), Saigon Odonto-Stomatology Hospital... to bring increasingly high treatment efficiency to patients.

At the same time, the hospital also welcomed many international delegations to visit and work such as: Cardiology delegation (USA), Dental delegation (Korea, India)... The hospital also coordinated with Wonkwang University Hospital (Korea) to provide charity medical examinations for 3,029 people in Can Tho City.

Currently, Can Tho University Hospital is implementing phase 2 of infrastructure construction and equipment investment with a budget of about 1,800 billion VND. When completed, the project will contribute to further improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
