Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. on October 20, on the journey from Brunei to Vietnam, more than 100 nautical miles from Truong Sa Island, Mr. Truong Xuan Thanh (26 years old, Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province) felt pain in the right iliac fossa, the pain was colicky.
The patient was taken to the Truong Sa Island infirmary by the Tan An Bonanza cargo ship captained by Mr. Phi Ngoc Xuyen for emergency treatment at 1:00 a.m. on October 21.

Doctors at Truong Sa Island Infirmary treated, tested, did blood biochemistry, and performed emergency ultrasound. Next, the patient was treated with internal medicine: smooth muscle relaxants, antispasmodics, pain relievers, and urine monitoring. Currently, the patient's pulse is 54 times/minute, blood pressure is 135/80 mmHg, SPO2 98%; the patient is alert, responsive, no fever, body temperature is 36.8 degrees Celsius, the abdomen is soft but still has colic pain in the lower abdomen and right iliac fossa.
The military medical staff at Truong Sa Island Hospital are continuing to closely monitor the patient's condition and promptly report any abnormalities.
