The Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee attended and delivered a directive speech at the Conference on the Implementation of the Work of the People's Courts at both levels in the city in 2026.

On the morning of December 10th, the Hanoi People's Court held a conference to implement the work plan for the two-level people's courts in the city for 2026. Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, attended the conference.

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements of the Hanoi court system in 2025. He emphasized that, in the context of Hanoi focusing on achieving development goals under the theme "Cultural, Civilized, Modern, and Happy Capital" and its three pillars (development, economy , and innovation), the court system plays a crucial role in protecting the law and justice, contributing to maintaining political and social stability.

The comrade acknowledged and highly appreciated the significant and proud contributions of the Hanoi City Court in the fight against corruption and negative practices in recent times. Expressing his admiration for the target set by the Hanoi People's Court to resolve all outstanding cases in 2026, the comrade stated that this is a practical goal that contributes to the development of a civilized and modern Hanoi.

Regarding development orientation, Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that the city is focusing on perfecting new institutions (proposing amendments to Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022, of the Politburo and the Capital City Law of 2024), building a 100-year vision plan, and developing science and technology as a pillar of growth.

Therefore, the city's two-level people's courts need to continue promoting digital transformation and strengthening effective coordination among judicial agencies. The city is committed to continuing to pay attention to and allocate resources to support the court system in operating effectively and meeting the requirements of the new situation.
