BIC accompanies customers to overcome the consequences of floods in the Central region

In late October 2025, Central Vietnam suffered severe flooding with record rainfall, causing great loss of life and property.

Many localities such as Hue, Da Nang , and Quang Ngai were flooded over large areas, seriously affecting people's lives and production and business activities.

Accompanying the people of the Central region in responding to the consequences of natural disasters, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) has quickly deployed appraisal work and supported customers in handling compensation in affected areas.

According to statistics up to November 3, 2025, BIC has recorded more than 150 losses, mainly concentrated in motor vehicle insurance and property - engineering insurance. The total estimated compensation value is over 40 billion VND.

BIC approached the scene of the damage when the flood water had not yet completely receded.

As soon as weather conditions permitted, BIC quickly deployed compensation assessment teams to flooded areas to visit, record losses, advise and guide customers on initial handling measures to limit damage.

At the same time, BIC also closely coordinates with independent appraisal companies to promptly determine the extent of loss, as a basis for considering advances or making timely compensation payments to customers.

In many localities, BIC staff overcame all difficulties in traffic, weather and access conditions to be present when flood waters had not yet completely receded, in order to promptly record damages and assist customers in handling compensation procedures.
