Binh Dinh has 14 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

(NLDO) – The People's Council of Binh Dinh province has passed a resolution on the establishment of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province.

On the morning of February 18, the People's Council of Binh Dinh province held its 21st session to pass 15 important resolutions on the establishment of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and local socio -economic development.

Accordingly, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee currently has 20 specialized agencies. Of which, 17 agencies are organized uniformly and 3 agencies are established according to specific criteria, including: Department of Tourism , Department of Foreign Affairs, Ethnic Affairs Committee. The number of civil servants assigned to departments and boards in 2025 is 1,211; the number of existing civil servants is 1,134; the number of unimplemented positions is 77.

At this session, the People's Council of Binh Dinh province passed a resolution on the establishment of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province. Accordingly, the province will establish departments, including: Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, Culture - Sports - Tourism, Home Affairs, Ethnicity and Religion. After the arrangement, Binh Dinh has 14 specialized agencies under the People's Committee of the province.

The People's Council of Binh Dinh province also passed a resolution to merge the Ethnic Committee with the Culture - Society Committee (People's Council of Binh Dinh province), named the Culture - Society Committee. This Committee has 9 members, including 1 Head and 1 Deputy Head.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Dinh province - requested that the new departments and branches must start operating from March 1. For agencies not subject to rearrangement, the province will reduce the number of focal points by at least 15%. For agencies merged and rearranged according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, Binh Dinh will reduce at least 35% of focal points.
