The Minister of Education and Training issued guidelines regarding the organization of the high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City.
During the meeting, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized the importance of preparing facilities. Ho Chi Minh City needs to assign and delegate responsibilities to various departments, thoroughly inspecting all sections and examination sites, from fire safety measures to conditions such as cooling fans and the distance between student bags.
With only a few weeks left until the exams, Mr. Son emphasized that schools need to utilize the remaining time to support students with special needs and those whose academic performance is not yet satisfactory, as students in Ho Chi Minh City have suffered many disadvantages due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic. During the exam process, invigilators need to thoroughly check students before they enter the exam room to avoid unfortunate incidents such as students carelessly bringing mobile phones into the exam room.
The equipment for printing and grading exam papers needs to be adequately invested in. "Based on recent experience, in Hanoi's 10th grade exams, even a slightly blurry exam paper can cause problems," Mr. Son said.
A delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training inspected preparations for the 2023 high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City.
The head of the education sector also noted that in addition to having sufficiently good machinery and equipment, careful and thorough inspection by qualified personnel is necessary. Only when both factors are combined can we be assured of quality.
In addition, departments such as healthcare must prioritize preventive measures and handle any unforeseen situations, paying particular attention to the health of exam supervisors and candidates taking the high school graduation exam...
"In short, for a successful high school graduation exam, all staff must ensure coordination and proficiency. Students must have a firm grasp of regulations and rules; traffic must be smooth, and communication must be proactive...", Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized.
