Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command holds exam for teaching staff

Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Unit 969, Political Commissar of the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, attended the opening ceremony of the competition. Colonel Pham Van Hieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, attended and delivered a speech guiding the competition.

Eleven contestants participated in the competition at the Command level, which consisted of three parts: knowledge (in the form of multiple-choice questions on a computer with testing software), lesson plan preparation, and teaching demonstration.

For the practical teaching demonstration, candidates will teach one to two topics from their prepared lesson plan as requested by the judging panel. After the lesson, the judging panel will present a pedagogical situation for the candidate to address and may ask additional questions to clarify the content of the lesson. During the lesson, candidates must apply appropriate teaching methods, with the mandatory use of a projector. The judging panel encourages the use of relevant materials, diagrams, models, drawings, and documentary films to illustrate the lesson.

In his opening remarks, Colonel Pham Van Hieu emphasized: The Political Education Instructor Competition at the Command level is a place for contestants to continue to demonstrate and affirm themselves, and also a forum for everyone to learn, improve their knowledge, exchange experiences, and share skills and professional expertise. Through the competition, Party committees and commanders at all levels can accurately assess the capabilities and qualifications of the political education instructors in their agencies and units, thereby formulating policies and measures to lead, guide, train, and improve the overall quality of the political education instructors in the future. The success of the competition will practically contribute to the continued effective implementation of the Project on reforming political education work in the unit in the current period.

The results of the competition will create a new shift in awareness and responsibility, improving the level, capacity, methods, and work style of political instructors in the Command; contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education , and better meeting the unit's mission requirements in the new situation.

Based on the results of the competition, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding candidates to represent the political instructors of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command at the upcoming All-Army Political Instructor Competition.
