The Command of Naval Region 5 is organizing a competition for innovative teaching aids and models in 2025.

On February 13th and 14th, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Command of Naval Region 5 organized a competition for innovative ideas, improvements in training models and equipment, teaching aids; and innovative ideas, inventions, teaching aids, notebooks, and lesson plans for Party and political work in 2025.

The competition was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting the headquarters of the 5th Naval Region Command (Phu Quoc City) with the units under the Region's command stationed in Nam Can district, Ca Mau province.

Eight affiliated units of the Region participated in the competition with over 830 products. Of these, 56 initiatives were selected from the grassroots-level competitions of various agencies and units.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the participating units thoroughly understood and implemented the competition's plan and regulations; they proactively leveraged their internal resources, investing time, materials, and effort in creating many new teaching aids, equipment, drawings, notebooks, and lesson plans of good quality.

The authors and groups of authors have actively explored and researched, resulting in many innovative initiatives, inventions, models, and software with high practical application, effectively meeting the requirements of training, combat readiness, and political education at the unit.

Following the competition, the Command of Naval Region 5 will select outstanding products to award prizes at the 2025 training commencement ceremony.
