On the morning of December 11th, the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao, belonging to Brigade 162, Region 4 of the Vietnam Navy (Vietnam Navy), docked at Jinhae port, beginning a courtesy visit to South Korea, aimed at promoting friendly relations and cooperation between the navies of the two countries.

The welcoming ceremony for the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao took place at the pier at 10:00 local time, with the presence of officers and sailors of the South Korean Navy. Colonel Le Hiep Lam, Vietnam's Defense Attaché, and officials from the Vietnamese Defense Attaché Office in South Korea also attended the ceremony.

This was the final destination in the courtesy visit to China, Japan, and South Korea by the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao and the delegation of the Vietnam People's Navy, led by Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of the 4th Naval Region.

The exchange activities during this courtesy visit to South Korea by the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao provide an opportunity for naval officers and sailors from both countries to learn more about the history and culture of Vietnam and South Korea, enhance mutual trust and understanding, and contribute to consolidating and promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between the navies of the two countries, making it increasingly deeper, more effective, and sustainable.

Earlier, after four days of work, on the morning of December 10th, the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao, along with a delegation from the Vietnam People's Navy, departed from Kure port, Hiroshima province (Japan), beginning their courtesy visit to South Korea.

During their visit to Japan, the delegation from the Vietnam People's Navy and the commander of the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Kure city government. Naval officers and sailors from both countries toured the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao and the Japanese ship JS Tenryu, and participated in sports exchanges. The Vietnamese delegation also visited several scenic spots and historical sites in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Immediately after leaving Kure port, the missile frigate 015 Tran Hung Dao and the Japanese ship JS Yamagiri conducted joint exercises on formation maneuvering, communication, and greeting each other at sea.
