The students are leaders of the Women's Union of the City, districts and departments of the capital Vientiane.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the class, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Women's Union Pham Thi Thanh Huong said that this training program for women cadres of the capital Vientiane in Hanoi is a continuation and concretization of the content of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Women's Unions of the two capitals Hanoi - Vientiane for the period 2022-2025.
The program received the attention and support of Hanoi City leaders, especially the coordination, support and assistance of the City Party Committee Organizing Committee and the Vietnam Women's Academy.
According to the program, the training course on women's advocacy will take place from October 21 to December 3. Students will study 23 topics with experts from central agencies, cities, academies and schools.
Along with the classroom teaching activities, the students visited 3 real models in some localities of Hanoi. Along with that, the Hanoi Women's Union will also introduce to the women some famous scenic spots of Hanoi and Quang Ninh province as well as the members will participate in many exciting and meaningful extracurricular activities.
"This is an opportunity for us to exchange, discuss, share and learn from each other practical experiences in the work of the Association; further strengthen the special affection, solidarity and loyal attachment between women of the two countries, the two capitals of Hanoi and Vientiane" - Permanent Vice President of the City Women's Union Pham Thi Thanh Huong emphasized.
