The result was not unexpected, as the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was considered far superior to Myanmar.
Against a lower-ranked opponent, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team demonstrated complete superiority in skill, technique, and competitive spirit, dominating the game for most of the match even before outside hitter Tran Thi Thanh Thuy entered the fray.
From the very first plays, the girls in blue quickly took control of the game. Their consistent passing ability allowed the Vietnamese team to deploy a variety of attacking strategies, from wing attacks to quick passes in the center.

The blocking was effective, consistently shutting down Myanmar's net approaches and leaving their opponents with almost no chance to score. The three sets ended quickly with scores of 25-9, 25-10, and 25-6.
A notable highlight of this match was coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's decision to give opportunities to young athletes. Among them, Anh Thao – a 16-year-old outside hitter – was brought onto the court and immediately made an impact. Playing confidently and showing no signs of being outmatched, Anh Thao scored the decisive point, closing out the match perfectly and demonstrating the great potential of Vietnamese women's volleyball in the future.

An easy victory against Myanmar gave the Vietnamese women's volleyball team their first three points, creating a significant advantage in Group B and boosting their morale for the upcoming matches. According to the schedule, Vietnam will play their second group stage match against Malaysia at 12:30 PM tomorrow, December 11th.
