The unique feature of the terraced rice fields in the Ha Giang plateau lies in their scale, the meticulousness in their construction and cultivation, and their aesthetic and artistic value. More than just a tool for local people to produce food, each terrace is carefully constructed with precisely calculated heights and slopes to optimize harvesting and protect the soil from erosion.

Besides its unique scenic beauty, Hoang Su Phi also possesses profound cultural values. It is a symbol of agricultural development and a testament to the cultural life of the local community. They have built and maintained the terraced rice fields for generations to serve their daily lives, and above all, to preserve and promote their cultural identity.
