Singer Huong Tram forced to cancel mini show in Hanoi due to heavy rain

Late on May 12th, the organizers of singer Huong Tram's mini-show "River Flows in You" announced that due to unforeseen circumstances and to ensure the health and safety of the audience and artists, the performance at 1 Trang Tien Street ( Hanoi ) had to be postponed and will be rescheduled for another time.

Accordingly, those who booked tickets for tonight's mini-show will have their tickets reserved.

The organizers "apologize to the audience," "will announce the new performance schedule as soon as possible"; and "thank those audience members who attended and checked in at the event despite the unfavorable weather."

Previously, in a video posted on her personal Facebook page, the 90s-born singer shared her upcoming plans after returning to Vietnam. These included organizing a tour of provinces and cities across Vietnam to share her music with the audience.

In particular, Huong Tram chose Hanoi, "a place that holds many memories and a special place in her heart," a place she "loves and misses very much," as the first location to hold her mini-show.

"River flows in you ," like a river of music full of emotion, was the name she chose for her mini-show.

"The river of music, the river of the soul that always flows within you, will be a wonderful way to begin this first night of the show," she said.

The mini-show "River Flows in You" has been cancelled due to heavy rain.

However, on the evening of May 12th, Hanoi suddenly experienced heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning. Since the event was being held outdoors, it could not proceed as planned.

According to the announcement, the concert was scheduled to start at 8 PM, but due to heavy rain, the organizers postponed it to 8:45 PM. However, the weather did not improve, so the organizers eventually announced the cancellation of the show and rescheduled it for another time.

Previously, on April 27th, singer Huong Tram denied rumors on her personal Facebook page that she had gone to the US to give birth.

She stated that it was "false information," "a defamatory image," and "significantly affecting her work." Both the company and Huong Tram will take strong legal action to address the false information targeting her on news websites and social media.

Huong Tram was the winner of the first season of The Voice Vietnam in 2012. After the game show, the singer actively pursued her music career and had hit songs such as "Ngoc" (Foolish), "Em Gai Mua" (Rainy Girl ), "Duyen Minh Lo " (Our Fate Is Broken )...

She was awarded the New Artist of the Year category at the 2013 Dedication Music Awards and her music video "Ngốc" was named Music Video of the Year at the 2018 Dedication Music Awards.

In May 2019, at the press conference for the release of her music video "Ra là em quá mong manh" (It turns out I'm too fragile) , Huong Tram announced she was temporarily suspending her singing career to study in the US. However, rumors circulated that she went to the US to give birth.

In 2021, she changed her stage name to Charmy Pham. The singer, born in the 1990s, recently returned to Vietnam after 5 years.
