According to Neowin , the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to come with 16GB of RAM, the first increase in capacity since the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It's also said to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The reason behind keeping the battery specifications the same as the previous generation is believed to be Samsung's desire to limit costs for its future flagship phones.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a major upgrade to its rear camera system.
Now, a new report from user X named Sperandio4Tech reveals details about the Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera sensors. According to the report, the phone will have three upgraded camera sensors, which aligns with previous reports suggesting that the top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 will feature a major camera system upgrade.
In terms of specific specifications, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 200 MP camera with Samsung's new ISOCELL HP2 sensor. This will be combined with a new version of the JN1 1/2.76-inch sensor, slightly smaller than the sensor on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but which will increase the camera resolution to 50 MP.
For the 3x telephoto camera, Samsung is rumored to be bringing a new 1/3-inch ISOCELL sensor to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This sensor will be larger than the one on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and will also increase the resolution to 50 MP.
The source also suggests that Samsung is preparing new algorithms to improve the image and video quality of its next flagship phone. However, details about these algorithms remain unknown.
